Can we get more Bridgerton-inspired engagement sessions please! When Chinda showed up with her beautiful corset gown for our Crane Estate engagement session I was so excited!
Although our session took place mid-day which some of you may know is the hardest time to shoot, I am still swooning over the magic we were able to create. This just goes to show that even on a hot July day with no clouds in sight all you need is an experienced photographer with a vision to kick that harsh summer lights butt!
Castle Hill on Crane Estate has been a favorite spot of mine since I moved to Boston. The landscape takes me right back to my time in France, particularly my visit to Versailles where you may know Joe and I got engaged! The estate is ever-changing as they are in constant restoration which makes each visit feel like the first time. I don’t think I will ever stop being inspired by this space and I can not wait to shoot here again!
•For large locations like Crane Estate bring flats to change in and out of.
•Bring some translucent powder, rice paper for shine, and extra lipstick for touchups (a hand fan can do wonders in the hot summer heat!)
•Consider having your hair/makeup trail the same day to put it to the test!
•Remember to plan for location fees. Venues are really cracking down and requiring permits to hold portrait sessions. A location like Crane Estate will run you over $200 for a permit and even locations like a state park can charge $45.
