Heres an exclusive peek into the incredible love stories of our couples, brought to life through our artistic lens. Get ready to be inspire and see why so many entrust us to capture their special day.
I want to preface this post with the fact that I do have a background in graphic design and a passion for fine art wedding invitations and so this was one area in our wedding that I felt confident enough in to put my personal touch on. I would strongly suggest a professional for your own wedding invites as this process is not for the faint of heart.
Fine Art stationery is a physical work of art and an heirloom you will cherish. Each page is hand crafted and unique and the love that is required to craft such a masterpiece is immense. Even with my prior knowledge in design, the overall process from research to fruition took around 200 hours. Each invite was hand printed, hand torn, hand foiled. The envelope liners were cut out by hand. The wax seals are dripped by hand, and the vellum jackets are cut and folded by hand. Everything you see was done with love and you guessed it, by hand. This process definitely deepened my appreciation for the stationary craft. In today’s digital age, I value the tangible Fine Arts.
I am also very lucky to have a best friend, who is a professional illustrator, draw my wedding illustrations. As children, we always worked on art projects together and so having her be a part of this process, just like when we were kids, made the finished pieces priceless.
If you seek heirloom stationery the starting cost will be around $5000 and for a custom suite you will be looking at over $10,000. The investment, in my opinion, is well worth it!
Below are a few that we love including two that are local to New England for those who like to visit in person!
